As part of its cost-saving measures, the Flemish Government has decided to discontinue the SME wallet as of 1 January 2027.
Subsidy applications can still be submitted in 2026 as long as the available budget has not been exhausted. What counts is not the start date of the project, but the date on which the subsidy application is submitted. In addition, pending subsidy applications can still be paid out up to and including 31 December 2027.
“Portefeuille PME” and “SME wallet” are the names VLAIO itself uses in French and English. “Trajet” and “project” render traject. If you’d rather be more explicit in English, “training or advisory project” would also work.
