Flemish training leave

Since September 1, 2019, an employee in the private sector in Flanders is annually entitled to 125 hours of Flemish training leave (VOV) under certain conditions.

This means that if an employee follows a job market-oriented or career-oriented training, they may be absent from work to follow that training or to study, while retaining their salary.
